Hi guys,

FISE 2009 was a total blast! It was the second year that mountain biking was part of the competition and this year, with a strong course and big names in the contest, we were the event the public appreciated the most.

I was in charge of the MTB contest, from designing the course to setting up the building crew and, of course, building all the stunts. I've been working on this project for the past 4 months and now I'm stoked that we managed to create something that big. It was a crazy good feeling on the day of the competition.

Building the course was one of the biggest energy suckers I've ever experienced, but at the end we had a great show and a great contest - both riders and spectators were super pumped.

My team buddy Lance McDermott won the Slopestyle contest ahead of Sam Pilgrim and Yanick Granieri. I ended up on 5th place in the finals, not too bad for a zomby!!!

This was the first time that I heard such good things about a slopestyle course. So many people came to me to say thanks and let me know that this was the best event in France they have ever been too.

More the 300.000 spectators came to watch the different FISE contests, like wakeboard, BMX (parc, mini ramp, dirt and flat), inline skates, and MTB.

We already started talking about the next edition...
