The camera crew arrives at the first base camp in Skjak at the Otta River. The adidas kayak team got there a few days prior to start up and adapt to the scale of Norwegian white water. After all, everything is bigger and more powerful up here and familiarisation is a prerequisite.

The film crew checks the equipment and discusses the programme of the upcoming week with everyone involved. There are 19 people in total on the ground: 4 kayakers, several camera men, sound engineer, assistants, photographers and organisers - the team even has its personal cook. Everyone involved is anxious what the next days will bring.
